Uber Pop and the In Arrivo Shared paths: has Freud something to say about it?

Recently Uber proposed what it calls another disruptive service: Uber Pop. Basically the service allows normal drivers to carry other passengers for a fee, a big part of which ends up in the deep pocket of Uber itself, as customary. Basically the same thing the In Arrivo suite is offering in all its three embodiments since more than one year by means of the shared paths technology. The difference being that the app does not charge the driver in any way for carrying other people and is not interested whether that is done for free or for a fee, and also that it offers this service also to walkers and taxi passengers that in this way may find fellow people for a run or walk in the park, or share the price of a taxi ride to a certain common destination to save money. What Uber has not even thought of or sparsely presented.

This make even more troublesome to understand why Uber is considered disruptive. The only suggestion is that it is mood to make it so. Sometimes the feminine part of people dominates and the
Denim type, occupying spaces and not needing to ask for that, projects its own charm. What makes even more so the fact that it comes with the big money of Google and other investors.

I wonder if appreciators of this platform understand the deep Freudian push at the basis of their interest!
